The computer department started as an IT servicing section under the Maths and applied science department. With the induction of the IT sector in the 1990’s the IT section was elevated to a full-fledged department to impact skills and offer it related support to the institute.

Currently we have qualified 15 computer lecturers; 11 TSC lecturers and 4 bog lecturers, and a population of 95 students. We are targeting to have a population of 500 students in the year 2015.
